Sure, we're Canadians and he's not our president-elect, but we've always been a very politically motivated family and keenly aware of the relationship between our countries. Like most of my countryfolk, we were solidly behind BO. We're the largest trading partners and our cultural histories are intertwined. We always are about what you're up to. The wine is moving into it's best years. Lots of fruit expression and subtle layers of flavour. My mom actually says it's "too intense" which is kind of a compliment I think. Shared a bottle of 2005 Township 7 Merlot with my mother and step-father.

Even putting something on ice seemed too daring. Also, my morning started at 3 am since I had to travel to my assigned location to assist with voter protection efforts. I ended up drinking <a href="http://2daysperbottle.blogspot.com/2008/11/chateau-haute-bailly-2001.html" rel="nofollow">Chateau Haute-Bailly 2001</a>, but now have a bottle of <a href="http://2daysperbottle.blogspot.com/2008/09/wbw49-nv-pierre-peters-champagne-blanc.html" rel="nofollow">Pierre Peters Blanc de Blanc</a> ready for January 20, 2009.
